DioWarriors Modular Construction System
Ever wanted a way to build a diorama that is extendable, one that you can add to it over time? Or a way to change the layout on the fly? Or the freedom to use a diorama for a display on your shelf, outdoors, on the floor or on your desk? Or a way to display different themes? Now you can using the DioWarriors Modular Construction System.
Introducing a Modular Design
The DioWarriors system uses a modular approach to building a flexible diorama layout. Build a floor or wall tile then connect the tiles. Each tile uses a special frame. It is a frame that provides the both strength and connectivity. Attach things to the frame and you’re all set to go. Imagine building a skyscraper — using a skeleton framework to support the building structure. Floors and walls are attached to this building structure. It is the same with the DioWarriors system. A frame is used for the layout, and the layout can be wide or tall. Items are attached to the frames. These items can be floors or walls, or ceilings. Use DioWarriors props to add detail to your diorama. Special props attach directly to the frames. Attach an A/C duct to a ceiling frame, or a door to a wall frame. The DioWarriors Modular Construction System (MCS for short) is a complete system for building diorama sets of any size and any layout. Make your layout a simple display of a few tiles of floors and walls. Expand that with a ceiling. Change the layout to an L shape, or H shape, or a square. Expand that with a ceiling, making the layout into a corridor or a cube. Connect your display layout to other display layouts. Tired of a flat layout? Add a ceiling and go up with a second level, or third, or any number of levels you desire. Or add a basement. Need to keep dust out or curious hands from touching your action figures in the diorama? Add an acrylic window to protect the contents of your diorama.
The system is made of interlocking frames -- support structures -- that attach to each other in a number of different ways. The frames resemble industrial piping which makes them also DioWarrior props and therefore compatible with the many machine props in the DioWarriors Store. Panels with theme details are then connected to the frames. The panels have the decorative details for themes -- a panel can be a warehouse floor or wall, or a Japanese dojo wall or floor. The panels can be any number of themes: Japanese dojo, warehouse, office, brick walls; even outdoor terrains -- grass, rock, sand, snow. The panels are not limited to simply being a floor or a wall, but can also be ceilings. If you are a traditional diorama builder, using real-world materials, such as plaster and wood, the MCS is also compatible. Add your own walls to the MCS walls, use the MCS frames to support your own walls. For more information download our brochure.

Floors
Use a square frame to build a floor. Connect the floor surface to the frame using special connectors. We have different types of connectors for different types of surfaces.
Walls
Same as a floor, use a square frame to make a wall tile. Then simply connect the wall tile to other wall tiles. Combine walls and floors into layouts.
Layout
All units are tiles — floor tile, wall tile, ceiling, etc. A layout is a matter of simply arranging the tiles. Tiles are connected to other tiles. Possible layouts can go in the X, Y, and Z direction.
