The Worlds of Dio Noir
Dio Noir is the DioWarriors brand of articulated action figures. Dio as in diorama, noir as in film noir -- a film genre of lights and shadows setting a gritty mood.
The toy line is segmented into three core themes and a number of sub-themes. The first of the core themes is Gangster Noir -- a time, a world, of gangsters. It's a dieselpunk theme where every day civilians wear a suit and tie and the tommy gun. It's a world of Prohibition where giant robots and super-science are mixed in.
The first of the sub-themes is Dio Noir: Conspiracy, which deals with all of the unknowns: the mysteries of science, space and beyond. Conspiracy is a theme that weaves in and out and between the Dio Noir themes. But it doesn't stop there. Conspiracy is designed to also link and bridge together other themes and even other brands of action figures -- your own action figure collection -- using your collection to fill in gaps and holes of whatever story your imagination can come up with.
